Friday's foot of snow had almost all melted away just in time for another foot of wet, heavy, spring snow fall yesterday. Despite the feeling that my spine was gonna give way while shoveling my front walk, I did love the beauty of the way the snow had so perfectly outlined every branch and twig of every tree.I leave Friday for a week long sojourn in Santa Barbara (where I had the wonderful good fortune to have lived for several years) and though these images of vintage postcards are of Florida palm trees, I happen to KNOW I'll be laying my snow blind eyeballs on some gorgeous palms in Santa Barbara.
